1. How long have you been collecting Sailor Moon items?
8 years
2. How many items are in your collection?
Thousands of cards, hundreds of figures, books etc.
3. Do you keep your items in the box or are you a ‘de-boxer’?
I save the box's but I buy toys to play with (carefully). I don't trust people who buy toys and don't play with them. Somethings just not right about that. Embrace your inner child, lol.
4. How do you display your collection?
A little at a time around my room, I don't have near enough space to display it all.
5. What was the first piece that started the whole thing?
The season 1 box set and my 1st toy was World gashapon set #1
6. What is your favorite/most treasured/meaningful piece in your collection?
The Bome Sailor Moon (beautiful).
7. What is your most desired collection piece that has yet to be acquired?
The rest of the Bome's.
8. What is your favorite category (dolls, cels, etc) for collecting from and why?
The art (art books, manga, posters & cards)
9. Is there any item/character that you wish had been made into a toy?
The Tux rose dart, lol
10. Where do/did you find most of the items in/for your collection?
Trip's to Japan, the Internet ( YHJ, LJ, YH groups & eBay) and my trade site
11. What is the greatest length you have gone to for a particular item?
13 hour flight followed by a 4 hour train ride.
12. What is the most expensive item in your collection?
The Infinity collection.
13. What was the best bargain you’ve ever managed to get?
All seven art books for $540.00.
14. How do you feel about bootlegs?
Don`t buy them (as far as I know), I try to support the artists I love. Except I do have bunch of HK cards (easily distracted by shiny things).
15. Do you have plans to sell your collection in the future?
I guess I should narrow it down some but I'll keep most of it.
16. Do any of the items in your collection have a neat story behind them?
I once received a TV art book with some "personal" photos in it, lol. I mailed them right back and got a cute thank you note, she said her boy friend was a bit embarrassed.
17. What do your friends/family think of your hobby?
Those closest to me think I'm obsessed.
18. Do you collect anything else, or just Sailor Moon related items?
I have an extensive collection of anime DVD's and a few Cowboy Bebop things.
19. What do you think thelowest quality/least desired kind of Sailor moon
item is?
Dolls & wands, I'm a guy so I'm not practicing my henshin moves or anything, It's just a gal thing I guess.
